Home-based
Super Eagles' likely opponents Togo and Benin Republic played a 1-1 draw in
their first leg First Round match of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers in Lome over
the weekend.
Benin
Republic took the lead in the 44th minute through Koukpo Marcelline before
Sewonou Koidjo equalized for Togo in the 47th minute.
The
winner between Togo and Benin Republic will face the home-based Super Eagles in
the Second Round of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
The
home-based Super Eagles will open camp on Thursday to begin preparation for the
qualifiers.
