Mark Henry has revealed that he will be wrapping up his career as an in-ring performer in WWE soon. He has been with the company since 1996 after being named “The World's Strongest Man.” He was just 24-years of age when he decided to get into the pro wrestling business.
His first big run came in 1998 when he joined the Nation of Domination with Farooq, The Rock, Kama Mustafa, and D'Lo Brown. Later down the line, Henry turned into a fan favorite and was seen on television romancing WWE women from Chyna to Mae Young as part of the "Sexual Chocolate" character.
In 2000, he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to improve his conditioning and wrestling skills. After two years away from the main roster, he returned to WWE TV as part of a member of the SmackDown live brand and rose up the ranks throughout the years.
During his time with the company, he held three championships. The WWE World Heavyweight Title, ECW Title, and European Title. He was also a three-time Slammy Award winner.
