The leadup to the release of Alicia Keys’ new album, “Here” has been as positive as the singer could have possibly hoped. She went Number 1 in South Africa, and broke the top 10 of many charts around the world with her first single, “In Common”. She then followed it up with an emotionally charged second single “Blended Family”.
With every single bit of possible promotion done and dusted, we have finally arrived “Here”. To the day that Alicia drops her new album.
We’re listening to the record as we type this and we can already tell that this album is going to be one of 2016’s most loved listens. There are mild influences from both Beyonce and Solange, while Alicia brings a lot of her vintage sound to the record too.
