Prof. Akintunde Akinwande turn down political appointment from President Buhari

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Its seems President Buhari has forgotten that he is a democratically elected president and not a military dictator. This is the third time a political appointee will turn down a political appointment, probably because of not being consulted before the appoitnment. Yesterday, President Buhari's nominee for NERC chairman, <span style="background-color: white;">Prof. Akintunde Akinwande, </span><span style="background-color: white;"> </span><span style="background-color: white;">failed to show up </span><span style="background-color: white;">before the senate for screening and confirmation. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">According to the Nation, <span style="background-color: white;">Akinwande turned down the nomination “because he was not consulted before the nomination was made”.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The Nation further gathered that <span style="background-color: white;">Akinwande</span><span style="background-color: white;"> is currently working on a project at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US and is not likely to take a break from the project. Akinwande was the only nominee absent at the screening out of all the nominees for the board of the NERC.</span> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">According to the source of the nation: </span><br />
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“We also learnt that enough consultation was not made before the man was nominated. We were informed that the nominee may have turned down his nomination,” the source said. Addressing the press after the suspension of the screening exercise, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe said there was no way the senate can conduct any screening without that of the chairman-designate.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br style="background-color: white;" /><span style="background-color: white;">“Regrettably, when members of the committee assembled to screen the nominees made by President Muhammadu Buhari, we were told that the chairman designate was unavoidably absent. The Presidential liaison who brought the nominees informed us that the chairman was unavoidably absent. The commission is vital and cannot function without a chairman. We cannot screen them until we have a formal communication from the Presidency”. Other nominees for the board appointment included Sanusi Garuba (Vice Chairman), Nathan R. Shatti (commissioner), Dr. Moses Arigu (commissioner), Dafe C. Akpeneye (commissioner), Prof. Frank Okafor(commissioner) and Musiliu O. Oseni(commissioner).</span></span>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Head coach of Manchester United, Jose Mourinho has revealed he'll never ever sell England/Man U captain Wayne Rooney despite his long stretch of poor form for club and country. Rooney, England's highest goal scorer and Manchester United's second highest goal scorer of all time has been dropped by club and country due to his poor form and sloppiness during matches, but Mourinho who has kept him on the bench in his last 3 premier league matches says he'll never sell his captain, as rumours surfaced that United will be looking to offload him as soon as this summer.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"></a><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Mourinho was asked about the possible prospect of selling Rooney, 30, to which he replied emphatically. </span><br />
<blockquote style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
“No, never. I will never make that decision. A player of his stature, a player of his history in the club will never go to point where club or manager want to make that decision for him. </blockquote>
<blockquote style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
“I put him [Rooney] on the bench for three matches in a row. That is hard for him, hard for me, so that is being ruthless, to put in my mind the interests of the team in front of the player, prestige, status. In this case even legend. To put on bench a player with the numbers he has for club and country is hard.”</blockquote>

"Don't bring stolen money to my church"- Abuja pastor warns

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">While preaching in service yesterday, Senior Pastor of the Family Worship Centre, Wuse, Abuja, yesterday warned members of her congregation against bringing stolen money to her church as offerings. Olola Seun Akioye on Facebook shared transcripts of what the pastor said during her sermon.</span><br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
“Any money that you cannot explain to God, don’t bring it to this church. If you are in the civil service and you have stolen money, please don’t bring the tithe to this church; I say this in Jesus name. You cannot do all that and then think you come to church and say a short prayer, that God will forgive you because of Grace.<br /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a></blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
If you have stolen money, don’t bring it to this church; I repeat it in Jesus name. Someone says pastor, we will miss money. Yes, I will rather miss your money and have you make heaven. Christians should be a standing rebuke to the world. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
“In church today, you see Christian ladies dress and there is no difference between them and prostitutes. What harlots wear to the bar, you wear to church in the name of Grace; nobody can persecute you because the devil has you already. If you are a prostitute here today, I do not condemn you. You are my sister; you are a daughter of Abraham and your body belongs to the Lord. I know some girls do this because they have bills to pay and you the man, you have the money but you cannot help them unless you sleep with them. You the man who takes advantage of those young girls, what you give to them, your own children will have it too. Bible says rejoice with the wife of your youth and let her breasts satisfy you. <span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The family and associates of the former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, are intensifying efforts to raise N100m to release him from the detention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">A source said the family had taken a decision that the former minister would not spend another week in the detention facility of the commission.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Obanikoro flew into the country on Monday last week and has since been held by the EFCC, whose operatives have been interrogating him in connection with N4.7bn traced to Silva Mcnanamara, a company in which, the commission says he has interests.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Babajide and Gbolahan, two of Obanikoro’s sons, were said to be directors of the company when N4.7bn was allegedly paid into the company’s accounts from the office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The money was said to be part of the amount earmarked to finance the June 21, 2014 Ekiti State governorship election, which Governor Ayodele Fayose won, and the November 2014 governorship poll in Osun State, which Chief Iyiola Omisore of the Peoples Democratic Party contested and lost.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Fayose, also of the PDP, defeated the then incumbent, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, of the All Progressives Congress, while Omisore lost to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of the APC.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">A family source on Sunday said members of the family were worried about the continuing detention of the minister because of his health and were moving to ensure that he did not spend beyond Tuesday (tomorrow) in detention.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“We are concerned about his health and we are not ready to see him still in detention beyond Tuesday this week. The man’s life is more important than the money they are asking him questions about,” the source stated.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The family source confirmed that the commission had given a condition to the former minister to raise N100m to get an administrative bail.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“If that is the only condition to see him out of detention for now, we are making efforts to raise that. You know the situation of the country now, but no sacrifice is too much to make him a free man again,” the source told our correspondent.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Investigation revealed that the operatives involved in the case were dissatisfied with the former minister’s explanation on how N785m was spent.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Obanikoro had said N785m was spent to procure souvenirs to promote a campaign against the Boko Haram in Lagos.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">He had told his interrogators that N200m was spent on surveillance activities while another N200m and the balance of N385m were spent on logistics and operations under the supervision of the owner of McNamara, who he identified as Taiwo Kareem.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">It was, however, gathered that while the EFCC did not question the claims of the ex-minister, which were backed with documentary evidence that he paid N3.88bn to Fayose and Omisore, they doubted the veracity of the claim that N785m was spent on the campaign against Boko Haram in Lagos.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The media aide to Obanikoro, Jonathan Eze, told our correspondent on the telephone on Sunday that there were expectations that the former minister would be released this week.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Eze called on the commission to release the former minister unconditionally since he came to the country on his own volition and had been cooperating with the EFCC since the commencement of the interrogation eight days ago.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">He urged the anti-graft agency to arraign the former minister if that was the decision.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The ex-minister’s spokesman stated that Obanikoro sustained a spinal cord injury and was taking medication.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Eze added, “Everything about investigation and interrogation, as far as I am concerned, is not done hastily. In as much as I would want a situation whereby Oga (Obanikoro) would have been released by now, we have no choice than to just play by the rule.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“They have said it themselves that Oga is cooperating, and because they have acknowledged his cooperation, they should speed up whatever they are doing, so that Oga can go back.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Oga is not even strong, health-wise, so that he can go and take care of himself and considering the fact that he came on his own volition, without being arrested or declared wanted, I think he should be attended to fast.</span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“He is a senior citizen, he can’t do anything that is untoward and he will always be around. We just hope that this new week, he would be released unconditionally.”</span></div>

Mourinho confess been humiliated by Chelsea

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white;">Jose Mourinho accused Antonio Conte of trying to humiliate him following Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, according to reports.</span>The Manchester United manager was angered by Conte’s efforts to whip up the Chelsea fans after N’Golo Kante scored a fourth goal to ruin Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge.</span><br />
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10px; text-shadow: none;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">After the game, Mourinho shook Conte’s hand and whispered in Italian: “It’s just my opinion, but don’t do that at 4-0. You can at 1-0, but at 4-0 it’s humiliation,” the Daily Mirror reports.The spat is reported to have spilled over into the tunnel after a member of Mourinho’s United backroom staff snubbed Conte’s attempt to shake hands after the game which led to an angry row between both sets of coaching staff.</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10px; text-shadow: none;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Speaking in the post-match press conference, Mourinho said: “You know me. I spoke to Conte, not to you. I'm not the kind of guy to come here and share with you things I don't want to share. That is his problem. I have no comment.”</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10px; text-shadow: none;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Conte hit replied: “I was a football player, so I know how to behave on the pitch. There were United fans who kept singing, while ours were in silence after a great performance from my team. I wanted to call the crowd to applaud the players, which seems normal enough to me.</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10px; text-shadow: none;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“I have great respect for everyone. Nothing happened with Jose, especially as my behaviour seemed normal. I didn’t make fun of anyone, as I always demand respect.</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10px; text-shadow: none;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“If you want to cut the emotions, we can stay at home and I will change jobs. I did something absolutely normal. I didn't do anything to humiliate Mourinho.”</span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">The operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a tricycle rider, popularly called, "Keke Marwa", for allegedly abducting a 15 - year old girl and turning her into sex slave.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br />
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
The suspect, Dada Azeez, 28,  abducted Bukunmi on October 5 while on errand for her aunt in Agege area before the RRS operatives rescued her on October 21th, 2016 from his hideout in Agege.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
The alleged abduction of the girl was disclosed by her sister, Mrs Gbemisola, who stated that the girl was abducted with a sum of N58,000:00 meant for  her thrift contribution.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
The suspect, after weeks of lodging in several locations to evade arrest, was eventually nabbed by the operatives at his residence at 7, Oseni Street, Danjuma Cinema area, Agege with the girl in his one room apartment.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Confessing to the crime, the suspect disclosed that he wooed the girl when she was 14 years old at her sister' shop in Agege. "We started having secret affair about a year ago. But her sister frowned at our relationship when she got to know.</div>

<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Unknown to her, we were still seeing each other. In order to be having regular conversation with her, I bought a mobile phone for her and instructed her to hide it from her sister. So, whenever she intended coming to meet me, she will call and I will describe our meeting point for her".</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
He added "then I thought if she could elope with me that would be better for us. I started working on her psyche and deceiving her with some material things".</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
"I was able to perpetrate the crime when her sister sent her on errand on one <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_259140326" tabindex="0">Sunday</span> afternoon. However, I didn't know she was with such amount of money. I just wanted to take her far away from her guardian for not supporting our relationship", he revealed.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Narrating her ordeal, Bukunmi noted that the suspect forcefully deflowered her, adding that, he turned her to a sex slave.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
According to her," he forced himself on me the very first day I visited him at his residence. Ever since, he has been having sex with me without wearing condom.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
He slept with me anywhere and even at his friends' place where he hid me for weeks. I succumbed to him because I couldn’t go back home".</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
She said that the suspect collected the N58,000:00 her sister gave her. "He fed me thrice a day probably from that thrift contribution money", she added.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
The victim, who looked pale when he was arrested, said that, she eloped with him out of ignorance.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Also arrested along with him, was one of his friends, Wasiu Agunbiade, who aided the abduction by accommodating the suspect and the teenager in his one-room apartment in Agege.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
He said that he only accommodated them for a night, adding that he never knew he abducted the little girl.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
"If I had known the girl was abducted, I would have advised him to return her to her parents. I never believed he could commit such crime.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
He begged me to accommodate them for one night with her in my room, stressing, “he left my place the following day to somewhere else. I regretted allowing them to pass the night in my place".</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
In her reaction, sister of the abducted girl, who was so elated upon seeing her niece, said that the family will take her to hospital for medical check-up.</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
While confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Superintendent of Police, SP Dolapo Badmus, warned parents and guardians against exposing their wards and children to social vices around their environment.</div>

Father Given 1,503 Year Sentence For Raping Teenage Daughter

<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700;"><img alt="36945599_l-620x413" src="http://d26eh0lrvfsf7z.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/36945599_L-620x413.jpg" /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; font-weight: 700;">A 41-year-old man in Fresno, California was sentenced to 1,503 years in prison for raping his teenage daughter over a four-year period.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The sentence is being called the longest-known prison sentence in Fresno Superior Court history.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">During the sentencing, Judge Edward Sarkisian Jr. told the man he is a “serious danger to society” adding that he had never shown remorse and even blamed his daughter for his predicament. The daughter was first sexually abused by a family friend but instead of protecting her, he turned her into “a piece of property,” prosecutor Nicole Galstan said.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">According to the prosecution, the victim was raped two to three times a week from May 2009 to May 2013, when she finally got the courage to leave him. A jury found him guilty of 186 felony counts of sexual assault, including dozens of counts of rape of a minor.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“When my father abused me, I was young. I had no power, no voice. I was defenseless,” said the daughter, who now is 23 years old.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The man turned down two plea deals. Before his preliminary hearing, if he had admitted his guilt, prosecutors would have recommended 13 years in prison. He rejected the offer. Then before his trial, he was offered 22 years in prison if he admitted his guilt and again, he declined the offer.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">“He ruined her teenage years and made her feel like it was her fault,” Prosecutor Galstan said in arguing for the maximum sentence.</span></div>

Bakare, a Senior Pastor, Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos, stated this on Saturday in Abuja.</span></span></em></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">He spoke on the theme: “ The Church and Economic Recession , “ at the 14th anniversary celebration of Foursquare Gospel Church.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">He said that the church had the ability to bail out nations, influence public policy through God-inspired economic principles and strategically position human resources to implement its principles.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Bakare, however, said that the church was yet to rise to the height mandated to it by destiny to bail out nations and to lead them to God’s will.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />“ I am convinced that the recession currently being experienced in Nigeria is an opportunity for the Church.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">“Therefore, I declare to you that the Scripture is about to be fulfilled in your hearing as God is stirring up the church to take responsibility for the destiny of Nigeria.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">“ That is why we are gathered here today to talk about the church and economic recession.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">“ If the church is also reeling from the impact of the recession, we must admit to ourselves that this is against the Scriptural pattern.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">“ It is the best of times to take the tenets of the faith beyond the four walls of the church building to the marketplace and the policy roundtable, “ Bakare said.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">He said that the nation’s economic recession was largely self-inflicted which could have been avoided, saying “unfortunately for Nigeria, our biggest boom experience fell into the hands of an unprepared leadership.“</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
